Beer & Pizza net and repeater program on my radio

Hello from KO6NHJ,

I'm new, really new, to Ham. I've been spending time surfing the internet for everything Ham.

The 7am Bacon & Egg weekday net is at this same time I start work in the almond off season, meaning I can't check in at 7:00am or shortly there after. I will attach my microphone to my handheld radio and see if I can't check in on my commute from Turlock to Livingston. I did check in at the Tuesday night net, April 21 - I'm the one that saw the rainbow.

During my internet search I came across this https://w6bw.org/Local Nets List.htm - see the second item down - "Everyday 6:30 am Beer and Pizza net 147.030 + PL 100 Mariposa Name says it all."

I went to check in this morning, April 22, to the Beer & Pizza Net, because who doesn't want Beer and Pizza at 6:30 in the Morning?!? Kevin KO6HZC responded that there wasn't Beer & Pizza net Kevin KO6HZC did give me an early check in for Bacon & Eggs this morning.

The repeater programing reached Kevin KO6HZC instead of Mariposa - Is there a way I can get Beer & Pizza net for my commute to work?

Hi Jenny, and Congratulations on your new call sign.
I didn't quite understand your question, or if Kevin answered it already. Also, I can't tell if your question is a little "tongue in cheek". Anyway, either you're looking at an old listing that is no longer valid or maybe you don't like Kevin's answer. I doubt that two morning nets would be scheduled within a half hour of each other. Either way, both of those times are too early for me, so I have nothing to add.

Thank you for the congratulations . Everyone at TARC has been very kind, welcoming and have offered to answer my questions.

You did answer my question about why I was not able to connect to the Mariposa net - your answer was "an old listing that is no longer valid". Thank you for taking the time and finding the answer.

I did like Kevin's answer and he was welcoming and gave me good information about the Bacon & Eggs net.
